Even though the PROSUB18 was designed to pair perfectly with our PRO15, we had to find out what would happen if we combined one PROSUB18 with a PAIR of PARTY12 speakers.
The answer: AMAZING.
When connected and tuned the way our founder did during testing, this system gets seriously loud, hits hard, and delivers much deeper bass than you’d expect from such a versatile setup.
Here’s exactly how he set it up:
- Connect your Bluetooth streaming device wirelessly to the PROSUB18.
- Using the included XLR cables, connect the PROSUB18’s MIX OUT LEFT and MIX OUT RIGHT outputs to the CHANNEL 4 INPUT on each PARTY12.
- On the PROSUB18:
Set DSP mode to SQ for deeper, extended low bass, or SPL for maximum punch and output.
Start with Sub Level at approximately 60%, then fine-tune by ear.
Start with the Crossover between 80–100 Hz, then adjust to taste.
Set Phase to 0° when the subwoofer is positioned near the PARTY12s. Try 180° if the subwoofer is positioned farther away, and use whichever setting produces the strongest, smoothest bass at your listening position. - On each PARTY12:
Start with the Channel 4 Input Level at approximately 60% and fine-tune as needed.
Set Channel 4 Bass to -3 dB.
Set Channel 4 Treble to +5 dB.
Set MASTER VOL to +6 dB using the DSP control knob.
That’s it — turn it up and have fun.
This setup gets LOUD and gets DOWN!
And when you’re not in full-party mode, the PARTY12s can be used independently as portable Bluetooth speakers with rechargeable batteries, guitar inputs, and included wireless microphones — perfect for karaoke, sporting events, school events, backyard parties, and just about anything else.
It’s an incredibly fun and versatile combination.
