Beauty and Function
Our Speakers start with a beautiful machined T6061 (aircraft grade) aluminum panel, anodized for color and corrosion resistance. Laser marked, and then braced with 15mm square aluminum bars. This massive aluminum panel (5mm thick) serves as the Class A/B audio amplifier's heatsink. This allows our speakers to play at maximum volume continously without overheating, even in direct sunlight.

Under the hood
The aluminum panel (shown here in white) is heavily reinforced with 15 mm aluminum square bar and a solid 25 mm transverse brace, creating a rigid structure that minimizes unwanted resonance and delivers tighter, more controlled bass.
Our custom dual 2.5-ohm voice-coil 8" subwoofers use compact, lightweight neodymium magnets to reduce weight without sacrificing performance. Their exceptional magnetic strength delivers the performance of a far larger conventional ferrite magnet, at only a fraction of the size and weight. We hand match the resonant frequency of the four subwoofers.

All Together
We bring it all together in a braced, high-density wood enclosure with flared, tuned ports, premium rubber feet, and a leather carrying handle (don’t worry—it’s vegan).
Inside, a 12-channel Class A/B amplifier provides a dedicated 65-watt RMS amplifier channel for each of the system’s 12 voice coils. That’s 12 individually amplified voice coils delivering exceptional power and control, helping the system stay clean and controlled even at maximum volume.
For portable power, we use the latest-generation 21700 lithium-ion battery cells, providing high power output, long service life, and proven reliability.

The Origin Story
DiamondBoxx was founded in 2014 by Tony D'Amore and Juan Rodriguez with a single, uncompromising mission: build audio equipment that delivers studio-quality sound anywhere — without sacrificing power, durability, or craftsmanship, while not needing to be plugged into an electrical outlet.
What started as a passion project in Southern California quickly became a movement. Tony and his team saw a market flooded with mass-produced, disposable speakers that looked the part but couldn't deliver. They set out to change that — one hand-built enclosure at a time.
Tony and Juan have a long history in audio engineering and product design, they built D'Amore Engineering into a brand that audiophiles, professionals, and enthusiasts trust. Their hands-on approach to every product — from initial concept to final QC — is what separates DMNDBXX from the competition.
Inventors of the Bluetooth Boombox
Before DiamondBoxx, truly powerful wireless portable audio didn't exist. Bluetooth speakers were small, tinny, and built for convenience (RIP iPod docks) — not performance. DiamondBoxx (now DMNDBXXX) changed that equation forever.
DMNDBXX invented the Bluetooth Boombox — a category-defining product that combined the raw output of a professional loudspeaker with the freedom of wireless connectivity. No compromises. No excuses. Just thunderous, room-filling sound you could take anywhere.
That invention didn't just fill a gap in the market — it created an entirely new standard for what portable audio could be.

We started as DiamondBoxx in 2014, and it is still the name of the series of speakers that we started with, the Bluetooth Boombox style. DMNDBXX is now the name of our company and made room for other series or types of audio equipment. Thus the introduction of our DMNDBXX PRO speakers in 2025. These are built to deliver maximum sound pressure, loud enough for any party indoors or out.
